A significant step in its international expansion strategy. BT has acquired Multiple Awnings Inc., a Canadian company based in Beloeil, Quebec, with over thirty years of experience in the production and distribution of solar shading solutions.
“This acquisition marks a pivotal moment in our international development. We will combine the local expertise of Multiple Awnings Inc. with our technological and industrial vision to deliver even more innovative and sustainable solutions to North American customers,” said Alberto Radaelli, partner of BT.
The Canadian company will continue to operate under its own brand and retain its operational independence, as highlighted by the Group’s Commercial Director, Roberto Stefanoni: “Multiple Awnings will benefit from new resources, targeted investments and the support of our expertise, gaining from synergies with BT to reinforce its competitive position and actively contribute to the Group’s growth.”
Following the establishment of the BT Iberica (Spain) and BT Belux (Belgium) Business Units, the addition of Multiple Awnings marks a major step in BT’s internationalisation, strengthening its presence on one of the world’s most strategic and dynamic markets: that of North America. The development plan includes investments aimed at enhancing production capacity, accelerating technological innovation and consolidating a commercial presence on the North American market.
