Hotel Due Palme

Due Palme Hotels, located in the beautiful setting of Lake Mergozzo, in the province of Varese, chose BT Group for the restyling of the historic lobby.
The client asked to redesign and renew ‘the look’ of the counter and surrounding area, maintaining the classic touch that has distinguished the location since 1952.

The existing counter structure was recovered by covering it with real ivory-coloured leather with the timeless capitone’ workmanship. To standardise the representative style of the environment, the bar counter was also covered with the same material.

In the part behind the counter, as well as designing the cabinet to hold the room keys, the wall was covered with an elegant boiserie up to the kitchen door, providing a touch of class to cover unsightly structural parts. Nuances in lighter shades and a large mirror tame a fresh touch and evoke tranquillity in the hall space.

All the panelling, like all the materials and fabrics used, meet high quality standards and are fireproof.
To recall the hotel’s name, two schematic palm leaves in brass have been applied to the side paneling.
