Hotel du Lac
The blue lounge was renovated by restoring vintage features dating back to the hotel’s opening in the 1950s.

This restoration approach delighted the owner, preserving the charm of the past while showcasing the value of timeless design.
The ash grey CARPET was selected to harmonise with the other elements. It uses a Tufted Twist-SmartStrand Forever Clean technique, combining stain resistance with a nanotechnology-based dirt shield. It is fire retardant and rated Class 33. Eco-friendly.
The WALL COVERING is a pearl grey small-pattern fabric, fireproof to current standards, installed over flame-retardant molleton and finished with baguettes for a clean look and improved acoustics.
The DISPLAY CABINET was lined using the same technique as the wall covering, with matching blue velvet used for the curtains to maintain a uniform colour scheme throughout the space.
The DOOR was upholstered in matching blue velvet with Swarovski crystal stitching in place of traditional buttons.
The DECORATIVE LINED CURTAINS are crafted from cobalt blue iridescent velvet, fireproof to current standards, with blackout lining for maximum versatility in creating multifunctional event spaces.
