OUR FIRST 70 YEARS

On October 1st, the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza hosted an exclusive event to celebrate BT Group’s 70-year history. The atmosphere, filled with emotion and festivity, combined the passion for speed with the excellence of Italian innovation, providing guests with a truly special day.

The Radaelli family—Aristide, Annalisa, Andrea, Alessandro, Alberto, and Tina— in front of around 500 attendees, guided by journalist Manuela Donghi’s questions, shared various anecdotes from BT Group’s corporate history, offering a personal perspective on their entrepreneurial journey. Their narrative highlighted the strong passion and unity among family members, who, under Aristide’s entrepreneurial expertise, have allowed the company to maintain deep roots in the local area while always keeping an eye on innovation.

Aristide Radaelli reflected on BT Group’s history: “When I think about the founding of BT Group, I can’t help but return to the early years. My parents started their business as craftsmen in upholstery, and I grew up surrounded by fabrics, sofas, wool mattresses, and interior furnishings. My father taught me the values of precision and elegance in craftsmanship and the refinement of details. I began my career at a young age, and thanks to the collaboration of my wife and later our children, employees, and partners, we managed to create a full-cycle group for the production of awnings, pergolas, and technical curtains.”

This anniversary was not just a celebration of the past, but an invitation to continue dreaming big and to commit to the same passion and dedication that have brought BT Group to its first 70 years.

“Today we are here to celebrate this extraordinary group, our extended family,” continued Aristide Radaelli. “BT Group is founded on this spirit of family and the positive corporate culture that all of you have embraced.
