An advanced 3D software configurator dedicated to bioclimatic solutions. This is the innovative tool developed by BT Group, designed for retailers both in Italy and abroad, representing a significant shift in the design and sale of bioclimatic pergolas, soon to be extended to pergolas with PVC fabric and awnings.
BT Group’s new software offers a simple and intuitive configuration process, allowing users to create custom pergolas with no limits on size or shape, starting from a minimum of 2×2 meters up to a maximum of 8×40 meters. Soon, the software development will eliminate the maximum size limits.
One of the most revolutionary aspects of the configurator is real-time visualization, meaning its ability to instantly show changes made to the 3D model. This feature allows retailers to immediately see the impact of modifications, offering a clear and precise view of the final product. In addition to 3D configuration, the software includes a commercial area dedicated to quotation and order management, facilitating the creation of detailed quotes with additional items such as installation, delivery, and transport. This section also enables detailed statistics on sales and product performance.
The configurator allows users to virtually place the pergola in the real photographic context of the customer’s home, leveraging augmented reality. Users can see how the pergola integrates with the outdoor environment, evaluate shadows based on orientation, and view the opening and closing of the slats. This functionality also includes the option to add elements such as flooring, plants, tables, and chairs for a complete and realistic representation. Also glass doors and sliding curtains can be opened to visualize their shadows.
The software, released at the end of April, is already available to all BT Group retailers, for whom dedicated training sessions have been organized. In the future, a B2C version will be developed, allowing end users to use the configurator to design their own pergola.
